FROM ROCKET CITY TO A MAJOR LEAGUE WIN: Trash Pandas starter and Southern League strikeout leader Mitch
Farris had his contract selected by the Angels on September 1, and earned his first MLB win on September 2 over
the Royals in Kansas City. He became the 45th Trash Pandas alum to reach the majors, the ninth in 2025, and the
14th to be promoted directly from Double-A. Farris also became the third Trash Pandas player to win his MLB debut,
joining Chase Silseth (5/13/22 at OAK), and Caden Dana (9/1/24 vs. SEA).
SOUTHERN LEAGUE STRIKEOUT LEADER: As Farris was promoted to the bigs on Monday - at the time of his promo-
tion - he ranked 3rd in Double-A with 142 strikeouts over 23 outings. Farris is 2nd in team history in single-season

on April 5 vs. Chattanooga.
