The Explorers are a juggernaut of a squad with exceptional chemistry
and experience, led by Cameron Boozer, a 6-10 forward who dominates
every inch of the paint and is versatile enough to consistently knock
down shots from the perimeter. Boozer, a Duke signee who is ranked
No. 3 overall in the ESPN 100, averaged 23 points, 12 rebounds and
3.2 assists a game during the regular season. He’s joined by his twin
brother, 6-4 point guard Cayden Boozer, a fellow Duke signee and
McDonald’s All American who pumped in 14 points and eight assists a
game. Caleb Gaskins, a versatile 6-8 forward who is the No. 8 overall
junior per ESPN, pumped in 15 points and seven rebounds a game and
6-6 swingman Jaxon Richardson averaged 14.1 points and 4.9 rebounds
a game. After their big four, the Explorers get productive minutes from
6-4 wing Cello Jackson, 6-6 forward Michael Feenane and 6-7 forward
Keeper Jackson.
road to chipotle nationals
The Explorers are riding a 14-game winning streak and all three of their
losses this season have come against teams in the eld. On the ipside
they’ve reeled off six wins against Chipotle Nationals participants. The
Explorers steamrolled the competition in the state Final Four last month,
winning games by an average of 32 points on the way to claiming their
fourth-consecutive FHSAA 7A state championship. In the, 68-34, win
over Windermere (Fla.) in the title game, Cameron posted 20 points,
nine rebounds and three blocks, Richardson added 14 points, seven
rebounds and six blocks and Cayden managed 12 points, ve rebounds

The Lions (22-8) came into the high school season widely regarded as
the deepest and most talented team in the country but were plagued by
injuries throughout the season. The good news is that they’re back to
100 percent healthy at the right time. Chris Cenac Jr., a 6-10 forward
who is signed to Houston, does it all for the Lions on both ends of the
oor, averaging 12.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks a game in
Nike EYBL Scholastic play this season. USC signee Jerry Easter, a 6-5
point guard, runs the show, while Alabama signee Davion Hannah, 6-5
scoring guard, Legend Smiley, a 6-5 sharpshooter, and 6-4 wing Trent
Perry gives the Lions electric and versatile scoring threats from the
backcourt. A’mare Bynum, a 6-8 forward who is signed to Ohio State,
and 6-10 center John Clark, who is signed to Texas, have been out most
of the year, but are back to add a signicant boost on both ends of the
oor for the Lions.
road to chipotle nationals
The Lions are one of the hottest teams in the country, riding a sev-
en-game winning streak, including four-straight in as many days to
claim the inaugural EYBL Scholastic conference tournament title after
knocking off Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.), 74-71. In that game, Cenac
took home tournament MVP after posting 22 points, six rebounds and
six blocks. Easter posted 15 points, three rebounds and six assists and
Perry posted 16 points and nine rebounds in the win. The Lions shot
59.2 percent from the eld and 43.8 percent from three. The Lions have
gone 5-6 against the eld this season.

The Crusaders bring a blue-collar approach to the hardwood defending
94 feet and using its strong contingent of playmaking guards to create
offense. Syracuse signee Kiyan Anthony is coming off a stellar showing
at the Nike EYBL Scholastic conference tournament. The 6-5 scoring
guard averaged 20 points a game and led the Crusaders to the title
game. He’s joined in the backcourt by Marquette signee Nigel James, a
6-1 combo guard who was named Defensive Player of the Year and Sixth
Man of the Year in the EYBL Scholastic. The Mingo brothers, Kayden,
a 6-2 point guard who is signed to Penn State, and Dylan, a 6-5 point
guard who is ranked No. 11 overall in ESPN 60 for 2026, create head-
aches for opposing backcourts with their speed, versatility and three-lev-
el scoring ability. Florida State signee Nico Onyekwere, a 7-1 center,
anchors the paint along with 6-8 forward Moussa Kamissoko, ESPN’s
No. 15 sophomore in the country, and MJ Madison, a 6-9 workhorse of
a forward.

The Crusaders got hit with the injury bug to open the season and started
3-5 with Anthony in street clothes. They got the sharpshooter back,
regrouped and went on an 18-win tear, mowing down quality team after
quality team along the way. The Crusaders have wins over Columbus
(Fla.), Paul VI (Va.), IMG Academy (Fla.), Oak Hill Academy (Va.) and
Brewster Academy (N.H.), among others. LuHi marched all the way to
the EYBL Scholastic title game where it fell to Link Academy (Mo.), 74-

The Bobcats (27-4) are a tough and gritty group who tactically wear
teams down with balance on both ends of the oor. Sebastian Wilkins,
a 6-8 stretch forward, has proven to be a nightmare of a matchup all
season, averaging 13.3 points and 7.4 rebounds a game in the Nike
EYBL Scholastic. Jason Smith’s backcourt is a virtual ball of talent-lad-
ened energy with Darien Moore, a 6-2 combo guard who is committed to
Seton Hall, and Stanford commit Ebuka Okorie, a 6-1 point guard who
averaged 13.3 points and 2.8 assists in league play. Preston Fowler,
a 6-8 forward who is signed to James Madison, does it all (11.9 ppg.
and 6.5 rpg.), similar to Wilkins. Iowa State signee Killyan Toure, a 6-3
combo guard, lls up the stat sheet from the backcourt, coming off an
11-point, seven-assist, ve-rebound performance in the Bobcats’ loss to
Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) in the EYBL Scholastic conference
tournament.
road to chipotle nationals
The Bobcats nished tied for rst in the EYBL Scholastic this season,
posting a 9-2 record in a league that featured at least eight teams
ranked in the ESPN SCNext 25 all season. Brewster had key wins over
national hoops powerhouses like Wheeler (Ga.), Long Island Lutheran
(N.Y.), Montverde Academy (Fla.), Link Academy (Mo.) and IMG Acade-
my (Fla.), among others. The Bobcats were No. 1 in the EYBL Scholastic
in scoring defense, holding opponents to 50.8 points a game. Brewster
was also the most clutch free-throw shooting team in the league, drain-
ing shots at 77.1 percent. Even more impressive is that the Bobcats
have gone 4-1 against the eld this season.

The Bears’ (21-5) creed is centered around grit and grind, outworking
their opponent on every possession. That starts at the point with Miles
Sadler. The 6-1 oor general is the engine that has driven the turn-
around for Bella Vista this season, going from 1-11 last season in the
Nike EYBL Scholastic to winning a share of the regular season title after
nishing at 9-2 this season. Sadler averaged 16.1 points and 4.7 assists
a game in league play and serves as a master of pace, carving up de-
fenses in transition and the halfcourt. Aliou Dioum, a 6-10 center, was
the most feared shot eraser in the league ranking rst in blocks swatting
two a game. Rokiem Green, a 6-2 scoring guard, is the Bears sniper, 6-7
utility forward Jaion Pitt does it all on both ends and Noah George, a 6-3
point guard, steadies the ship while applying stiing defensive pressure.
That core nished No. 2 in scoring (64 ppg.) and No. 1 in offensive
rebounds in the league, snagging 10.4 a game. Even more impressive
since the EYBL Scholastic is widely regarded as the country’s most elite.

The Bears pieced together an impressive resume this season implement-
ing their blue-collar approach to the game. Brandon Rosenthal’s group
managed key wins over powerhouse squads like Montverde Academy
(Fla.), Prolic Prep (Calif.), Sunrise Christian Academy (Kan.), Link
Academy (Mo.), AZ Compass Prep (Ariz.) and IMG Academy (Fla.). The
Bears marched all the way to the seminals of the EYBL Scholastic con-

The defending Chipotle Nationals champion lost virtually all of its

of Marcus Spears Jr. and Ryan Hampton add consistent sparks on both
ends. Spears, a 6-7 forward, and Hampton, a 6-5 wing, are ranked No. 3
and No. 6 overall by ESPN in the 2027 class.

KNOW THE PERSONNEL
The Eagles (25-1) are intently aware that the bull’s-eye rests rmly on
their jerseys. After all, what else could you expect from a team who has
won the last three Chipotle Nationals titles. Still, they boast an uber-tal-
ented and deep contingent that could snag them No. 4 as the top-seed-
ed Eagles prep to face No. 4 seeded Faith Family (Texas). They’re
anchored by a pair of espnW 100 top ve McDonald’s All Americans in
Agot Makeer (10 ppg. and 5.7 rpg.) and Aaliyah Crump (11.2 ppg., 3.7
apg. and 1.7 spg.) and the country’s No. 1 junior Saniyah Hall. Makeer,
a 6-1 wing who is committed to South Carolina, uses her length, agility
and three-level scoring ability to dominate the competition. Crump, a
6-1 guard who is signed to Texas, is a matchup nightmare capable of
dominating in the paint and creating from the wing. Hall does it all,
posting 20 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.3 blocks
a game. Lourdes Da Silva Costa, a 6-2 forward who is signed to
Alabama, is the Eagles leading rebounder (6.7), 5-8 guard Amaia
Jackson, a Clemson signee, is a shifty playmaker, 6-2 forward Missy
Odom and 6-3 forward Bailey Breen, a Maine signee, add depth to the
frontcourt, 6-1 wing Holand Harris, who is also signed to Clemson, adds
a versatility.
road to chipotle nationals
When the Eagles lace ‘em up at Chipotle Nationals on Friday they will
have gone 107 days without a loss. That run included wins over national
powers like Winston Salem Christian (N.C.), Purcell Marian (Ohio),
Rock Bridge (Mo.) and Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.), among others. Matt
Shewmake’s crew went 3-0 against the eld, including two wins over
its seminal opponent, No. 4 seeded Faith Family (Texas). The Eagles
have consistently put together complete games this season, posting 68.6
points, 16.9 assists, 34.3 rebounds, 8.2 steals and 4.8 blocks a game.

The Moose (27-3) earned the No. 2 seed despite nagging injuries
throughout the season and being led offensively by underclassmen.
Versatile 6-2 wing Jordyn Palmer starred consistently all season, posting
21 points and 10 rebounds a game, as did 5-10 guard Jessie Moses
who pumped in 17 points a game. Both sophomores are joined in the
backcourt by the Moose 5-10 oor general Atlee Vanesko, Kennedy
Henry, a Villanova signee, and Olivia Jones, a Harvard signee who serves
as the second captain on the team. All ve starters have either signed
to Division I programs or are only considering them. That group uses its
chemistry, talent and IQ to tactically dismantle the opposition on both
ends of the oor, averaging 72.2 points a game and holding teams to
42.7 points a game.
road to chipotle nationals
The Moose are one of the hottest teams in the country, reeling off 17
wins a row headed into its seminal matchup against No. 3 seeded
IMG Academy (Fla.). They’re coming off capturing their fourth-straight
PAISSA state title, but the Moose have consistently mowed down elite
competition all season, including both the Philadelphia Catholic League
champion – Neumann-Goretti (Penn.) – and the runner-up – Archbishop
Carroll (Penn.) – by an average of 28 points. The Moose also managed
impressive wins over teams like Perkiomen Valley (Penn.), Audenried
(Penn.), Friends Central (Penn.), SSS Academy (Va.) and Bishop Ireton
(Va.).

The Ascenders’ (17-4) “all hands on deck” approach has served them
well all season and one they’ll bring to their rst round matchup with
No. 2 seeded Westtown (Penn.). Kelis Fisher, a 5-9 point guard who is
signed to Connecticut, is the catalyst for the Ascenders on the offensive
end as a scorer (13.3 ppg.) and playmaker (3.1 apg.), but also averages
1.5 steals and 1.7 deections. She’s joined in the backcourt by 5-8
combo guard Nyla Wilson, an Auburn signee, who averages 10.4 points,
3.5 rebounds, 3.5 deections, 3.2 assists and 2.7 steals a game. Daniya
Prawl, a 6-1 McDonald’s All American wing who is signed to Tennessee,
checks off multiple boxes on both ends of the oor for the Ascenders.
Illinois signee Manuella Alves, a 6-3 forward, anchors the paint (8.1
rpg.) with 6-4 forward Kelsi Andrews and Lara Somfai, a 6-3, versatile
McDonald’s All American forward who is signed to Stanford. Somfai is
averaging 11.7 points and 6.2 rebounds a game. The scrappy Ascenders
boast an impressive and balanced attack on both ends of the oor.
road to chipotle nationals
The Ascenders have won nine of their last 10 games with the lone loss
coming to top-seeded Montverde Academy (Fla.), 65-57, on February
19. It was a rematch of last year’s Chipotle Nationals title game, which
the Eagles won. Still, the wins over IMG’s latest run came in dominant
fashion, mowing down teams by an average of 17.6 points a game. The
Ascenders hang their hat on the defensive end and use that pressure to
initiate the offense in transition. This season, they’ve forced teams into
18.7 turnovers, are swiping 10.5 steals and are posting 12 deections
a game. IMG also gets back on defense, holding teams to just 3.6
transition points a game while averaging 14 of its own. With those
defensive straps it’s no wonder that the Ascenders have been able to
hold teams to just 38.4points a game while pumping in 57.

KNOW THE PERSONNEL
The Eagles (15-7) are loaded with repower from all angles but have
yet to have all its weapons available… Until now. Amayah Grace, a 5-11
guard, is a dynamic two-way prospect who initiates the action on both
ends of the oor, averaging a team-high 14.3 points and 4.7 rebounds a
game. She’s joined in the backcourt by speedy 5-8 point guard Gianna
Jordan, her sister, Natalia Jordan, and sharpshooter Finley Chastain to
form a strong contingent of guards with versatile scoring and lockdown
abilities on the defensive end. In the frontcourt, Amari Byles, a 6-2
forward, keeps the defense off balance with her size and versatility,
evident in her numbers: 13.8 points and 8.3 rebounds a game.
Alabama signee Joy Egbuna, a 6-3 forward, gives the Eagles depth with
her physical nature on both ends and 6-4 freshman forward Kelenna
Ozumba is widely regarded as one of the top players in the 2028 class
with a vast skill set, elite length and a high IQ as a playmaker and
defender.
road to chipotle nationals
The Eagles have been plagued by injuries all season but have managed
to take top teams to the wire at different points this season, including
Montverde Academy (Fla.) and IMG Academy (Fla.). Still, the Eagles
have managed key wins down the stretch against national powerhouses
like DME Academy (Fla.), Legion Prep (Texas) and Dr. Phillips (Fla.).
Faith Family hounds the glass, averaging 37.9 rebounds a game and
masterfully plays passing lanes, swiping 10 steals a game this season.
This will mark their third meeting with top-seeded Montverde. They last
squared off on January 18 when the Eagles prevailed 70-48.
