TYPES OF PARKING
AREA RESIDENT: Covered areas of parking garages and any area of an improved parking lot used by City residents
to store vehicles while at their place of residence.
Residence must be within ¼ mile from center of parking facility. Proof of residence must be submitted at the time the application
is filed as well as during the December renewal every year. (i.e. utility bill or copy of lease.)
SUTTON MANOR ONLY: License and vehicle registration with matching address are required in addition to Proof of Residency.
SENIOR CITIZEN PERMITS receive a Senior discount on Area Resident rate ONLY
of age.
INTERGOVERNMENTAL: Parking used by a County, State, or Federal government agency under an Intergovernmental Agreement.

THINGS TO REMEMBER
· Most parking fees may be paid for either annually or semi-annually. Shorter terms are available in some locations.
· All information requested on the application must be furnished or the application will be denied.
· Any AREA RESIDENT OVERNIGHT permit holder parked before 5p.m. or after 9a.m. is subject to ticketing/towing.

· Failure to pay permit fees on time may result in the suspension or revocation of the permit.
· Changing a permit because of a new vehicle, new license plate, or for adding a vehicle is subject to a fee of $20.00.
· Commercial vehicles are prohibited from parking anywhere except for Lawn Ave Lot with the display of a City issued permit.
· N.R Transit permits guarantee a parking space Monday through Friday from 5am to 10am.
· New Roc Business permits are valid Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
· New Roc Extended – 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.
· Renewal Reminders Will NOT Be Mailed. It is your responsibility to renew your permit before it expires.
· Be advised that when submitting a new permit request, a waiting list might exist.
· Any new permits that have been approved must be paid within two weeks from the approval date or the request will be cancelled.
· There is no proration available, and no refunds provided, on 3-month, 1-month, Weekly, and all Sutton Manor permits
· There are no refunds on Daily permits or Sutton Manor permits, no exceptions.
· Permits must be printed and displayed in a New Rochelle hangtag at all times that the vehicle is parked in the facility.

Registration and License must be submitted at the time of application. The car must be registered to the permit holder who is over 65 years
BUSINESS/COMMUTER: To be eligible for this permit, applicants must reside at a distance from the facility that exceeds the
proximity requirement for area residents.
· For semi-annual and annual permits, a 5% late fee will be applied if payment is not received within five (5) business days after the permit expiry date.
There is grace period for shorter permits. They must be renewed before expiration.
