2014 is the inaugural year for our 13U
program. Our thought process with this
group is, “Train for the Future”, before we
know it the stage will be set for college
recruitment. We have composed a
schedule for our 13U that will undoubtedly
prepare them for when the time comes
(freshman – junior year in high school). It
takes time to train correctly; countless
hours of preparation will enable each
player the necessary time-span to work on
his game. We feel that by having a group
of 13U players we will have the necessary
time to build something special!
Twelve and thirteen year –olds are at an
age where there is a fine line between
playing for fun and learning how to
compete. If you and your child are serious
about getting better, receiving top
instruction, and learning early on what the
college recruitment process entails, this is
the right organization for you. It is an age
where most athletes have the necessary
strength and mental toughness needed to
condition and be challenged routinely. Yet
in today’s society, most parents refrain
from a blue collar work ethic. Why? Most
likely if the parent did not play a sport in
college or high school, then he/she
probably isn’t even aware how early they
need to get the recruitment process
started. In our professional opinion
parents are starting the process too late.
We want to change that. Our goal is train
them vigorously to make sure that we give
them the best chance possible. As a
former player and current coach, my belief
is that preparation is everything.
