PROBLEM
Trash is everywhere. It takes all of us to keep the environment
clean.
SOLUTIONS
•Pilot a scalable competition between universities to document trash on
and around campuses and clean them up in the process.
•Teach campus communities the Leave No Trace Principle “Dispose of
waste properly” and how it applies everywhere people live, work and play
•Use data from the competition to document where and what trash is most
problematic in each community and leverage that data to create
solutions
• Motivate campuses around the world to participate next year
