STATE RECOGNITION FOR GROWTH
AND PERFORMANCE
Five Bryant Schools earned reward money from
the Arkansas School Recognition Program:
Bethel Middle School (Top 6-10% Performance)
Springhill Elementary (Top 6-10% Performance)
Hurricane Creek Elementary (Top 6-10% Performance)
Hill Farm Elementary (Top 6-10% Growth)
Collegeville Elementary (Top 6-10% Growth)
BHS Robotics Team 5691X won the 2024 Arkansas State Robotics
Championship.
Bryant Indoor Percussion clinched their 3rd consecutive victory at
the Arkansas Marching Arts Associations State Championship.
Devyn Steingisser was named the 2023-24 Gatorade Arkansas Boys
Track & Field Player of the Year.
Nevaeh Suit won 2024 Arkansas Student Journalist of the Year.
The Bryant Junior High quiz bowl teams qualified for the 7A
Arkansas Governor’s Quiz Bowl State Championship.
Three BHS students placed in the Arkansas Economics Challenge.
Thirteen students placed first in the State Educators Rising
Competition.
Eleven BHS FBLA students made the top 4 at the State Conference
making them eligible to compete at the National Leadership
Conference .
Bryant High School and Bethel Middle School archery teams
competed at the NASP Eastern Nationals Archery Tournament.
BEMS, BJHS, and BHS competed at the VEX World Championship.
At VEX World BJHS Hornet Engineering And Technology robotic
teams 1338X - X H.E.A.T. won the Energy Award for the Design
Division; Team 1338W White H.E.A.T. went into the qualification
matches unbeaten and ranked 3rd, the highest ranking of any
Arkansas team at the World Championship.
Two BHS students placed in the 2024 Congressional App Challenge.
EXTRACURRICULAR
CELEBRATIONS
BHS students took top place in Arkansas SkillsUSA categories of T-Shirt
Design, Pin Design; Audio/Radio Production; and Video/Broadcast
News Production:
Seven BHS students earned 2024 All State Choir honors.
Numerous BHS students earned spots in the ASBOA All-State Bands.
The Legacy of Bryant placed 3rd (bronze medal) overall in the 7A
classifications at the Arkansas State Marching Competition.
Ten BHS Choir students earned placement in the 2024 Arkansas All-
State Choir.
Two Bryant Middle School students placed first in the FBLA State
Conference.
BHS & BJHS Journalism teams won numerous awards at the
Journalism Education Association and the Arkansas Scholastic Press
Association.
BHS Theatre Troupe #8855 received several certificates for Superior and
Excellent achievements from the Arkansas State Thespians.
Six BHS attended Arkansas Girls State and Arkansas Boys State.
FCCLA students competed in STAR event competitions and all
students earned silver or gold.
Bryant Elementary School was the top winner in collecting donations of
both peanut butter and cereal
BHS Quiz Bowl team took 3rd place in the 7A State Tournament.
BJHS 8th grade Quiz Bowl went undefeated to secure their victory in
the Dawson Cooperative Quiz Bowl Tournament.
Twelve World Language students represented BHS in the Foreign
Language State Competition.
BHS Hornet Media received the Student Television Network’s 2023-
2024 Broadcast Excellence award in the Sports Show category and
national honors in all four categories entered.
A record nineteen Bryant High School juniors were selected for the
2024 Arkansas Governor’s School.
ASSESSMENT DATA
In Spring of 2024, students were tested using the new state assessment, ATLAS. The assessment, based on Arkansas Standards, will align
to classroom instruction, providing educators with multiple tools to help improve student learning. Results for the 2024 ATLAS test were
released in October 2024. School letter grades are expected to released in February 2025.
