ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence (AI) is an ability of a computer or machine to do various tasks smartly that are generally
done by humans. The name AI was introduced in the year 1956. As AI technology and machine learning are
increasing rapidly all around the world, then we can think of a future scenario. At present, many people think
that AI will take over the world and rule it, but it’s not going to happen if it's developed under safe hands. After
all, it’s all up to the developer who creates this kind of technology. But apart from these myths, AI will be more
beneficial for users in the future in all kinds of fields. In this paper, we will discuss the growth of artificial
intelligence in the upcoming years and its future impact.
Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Analytics, Voice Assistant, Future Impact.
I. INTRODUCTION
As Artificial Intelligence has achieved much and has made a huge impact in many industries in recent years, it
will continue to give benefit to them in the future. AI also helps both public and private sectors towards their
achievement and growth. IoT, robotics, analytics, and voice assistants are some of the innovations in AI from
the last few years. In the healthcare industry, especially in pandemics in the last two years, AI has played an
important role. In the upcoming years, use of this advanced technology will become the norm, and easily
accessible e-medical records will simplify treatment. Even healthcare systems will be very useful to track,
monitor, and operate patients in real-time. In terms of the transportation and manufacturing sectors, AI already
has a lot to offer and we can witness a great evolution of smart and autonomous vehicles. As self-driving cars
are available nowadays, evolution after evolution, everyone can use and afford it.
II. METHODOLOGY
The main motive behind this research is to show what could be the effects of AI in the future. Firstly, we need to
understand the idea behind this topic and its background too. We researched and collected data about how AI
technology is growing rapidly for many years. The basis of the topic is being clarified by many websites, charts,
graphs, etc. We researched some famous personalities who said that AI would take control all over the whole
world. We will also see how AI will be helpful to us in the future rather than the fear that we are taking up in
our minds about job-losses and the control of AI technology on us. These are all the things mentioned below,
which we are going to discuss.
Will AI takeover the human workforce?
This fear has always revolved around AI. Experts like Stephen Hawking and even Elon Musk have already
warned us about the consequences and threats of this technology. One of the consequences is that AI is taking
the human workforce, which is leading to many job losses. Yes, it’s true and even many researchers agree that
AI is taking some jobs from humans, but it will not replace the whole workforce. It can likely replace routine
jobs like picking and packaging goods, responding to customer queries etc. Even today, some of these tasks are
still done by humans, and AI will take over all of them in the future. For these reasons, people should be trained
to do high-skilled tasks like programming, coding, etc. that are essential for the future.
The Future of AI and fear of apocalypse:
AI is being highly criticised for its biases and privacy-related concerns. But still, many companies and
researchers are trying to develop ethical AI approaches and algorithms that are unbiased. We can hope that this
will become possible in upcoming years. Another threat posed by AI is that it intrudes on people's privacy. For
example, voice automations like Alexa and Siri and even facial recognition systems have always been blamed
for spoiling the privacy of humans. Many authorities are against using this kind of technology for their privacy-

related concerns. Thus, AI needs to evolve more and move ahead of those threats to become the most
trustworthy system to be used in the future. Apart from these critical situations, AI is not going to cause any
destruction, as it is shown in Hollywood science-fiction movies. The AI we are using today is just a narrow AI
and there needs to be more evaluation. However, there is a chance that AI will be harmful in the future if it is
not developed in a safe environment. War robots are an excellent example, because developing them using the
incorrect approaches and algorithms will violate AI laws and may endanger humans.
Thus, humans have to use this technology just for educational purposes and not for unnecessary things. From
driverless cars to voice assistants in homes, artificial intelligence has grown rapidly in reality, as it was only in
sci-fi movies and books. As the topic of the film arrives, there is a Hollywood film titled "Minority Report"
whose story is set in 2054. Today, AI is arriving faster than the predictions shown in this movie. According to
researchers from Oxford University, AI technology can translate human languages by 2025, and can also
conduct surgeries by 2050. In the next few years, AI give tough competition to us in various fields.
Just imagine opening the door of your hotel room without a key, just with your facial recognition. Your face will
become your identity for a regular visit, even for transactions. Get ready to have any kind of order at your
doorstep through drones within a minute. The AI-based virtual assistant at home will place an appointment and
will give a call to your neighbours and relatives. Physical surgeons will be replaced by robotic surgeons in the
next few years as they can deeply understand the conclusion behind their treatment and then perform the
surgery.
How Will AI Change the Future?
Future of Artificial Intelligence in the Healthcare Industry-
AI will play a vital role in preventing 86% of mistakes in the healthcare industry. The future of AI is accessible
to all and will be beneficial for all patients for their treatment. Predictive machines can identify the patient’s
eating habits, their health, and even which disease he/she is suffering from and how long the disease can
worsen.
Artificial intelligence and the future of education-
Education across the world has gone far from earlier studies, as various subjects were introduced in schools or
colleges. Even in a teaching area, students are being taught about various new technologies, and AI is one of
them. The subject of AI is very popular among students as it is new to them and they can learn various
programming and machine learning languages from this concept. Learning from this subject, they can study the
various technologies very deeply, and they will connect themselves to those upcoming technologies in the
future.
Artificial Intelligence will create millions of job opportunities-
The most common fear, or the myth about an AI is that "it will kill jobs". AI is well-known for its ability to
perform automatic task. So, on that basis, we can think of a more comfortable future for ourselves that will
create new job opportunities rather than taking-over jobs. According to a report predicted by the World
Economic Forum (WEF), AI will create 97 million new job opportunities for people by 2025.
In fact, in India, the AI industry has doubled the salary of an engineer from 40k in 2018 to 72k in 2019. These
are just a few examples of how AI will change the future. The future of AI might be so far, but on the basis of
current AI scenario, we hope to see it soon.
III. MODELING AND ANALYSIS
According to a report predicted by the World Economic Forum (WEF), AI will create 97 million new job
opportunities by 2025. But there will also be some jobs that will be gone by 2025. Let’s discuss the report
shared by WEF.

Fig: Job prediction by World Economic Forum till 2025
As the report suggests, by 2025, there will be 97 million new jobs. But 85 million jobs that are used today will
be replaced by some highly demanded professional jobs like development professionals, specialists, and
scientists. So, by this report, we should think that AI is creating millions of job opportunities in the future rather
than taking away jobs from us.
As we already discussed, the evaluation of AI over the years will continue to develop. According to the
predictions by researchers, AI technology will be so advanced in the future in all fields, and one more thing is
that AI will give tough competition to humans. After all, this technology is developed under human intelligence,
so it will be a challenging thing for humans to have a competitor whose development is done by humans only.
But on the other hand, it will be so interesting to see how artificial intelligence is different from human
intelligence. So, let's take a look at the table below:

IV. CONCLUSION
The main purpose of this research is to inspire many people with advanced growth in technology and to assure
them that the future of AI technology will be beneficial to them. We have discussed how AI has evolved in so
many years and has grabbed the attention of people toward it. We have discussed the comparison of AI vs.
humans. We have also discussed that AI is being highly criticised for its privacy-related concerns in today’s
time, but in upcoming years, the problem will be solved by developing it with the correct algorithm. And apart
from this, we have concluded that AI will become so advanced in the future, whether it will be in the healthcare
industry, education, or jobs too.
