In our Newsletter, we will be highlighting events happening at
Four Pines Bookstore! We are looking forward to the spring and
summer season. We have lots of events planned for this summer!
Woah has time flown by! The summer is
quickly apporaching and we have so many
events planned for you! We would first like
to announce our Summer Reading
Program. You asked and we answered! This
will be a bingo style reading program that
is geared toward
early readers,
middle grade, and
young adults. Each
month your child
will have the
chance to earn a
bingo and win a prize. There is more
information on our website and bingo
boards are available in store. We have book
signings, children’s events, and our
anniversary coming up this summer. So our
store will be busy!

Our children’s event with Beth
Leipholtz (AKA beth_and_coop_
on Tiktok) has been rescheduled
for July 29th. She has such a
popular book that it was sold out!
We are very excited about her
coming to Four Pines. This will be
a FREE EVENT and all are
welcome!
We are excited to host the author J.
Ryan Stradal. This Minnesota
author is attending Four Pines June
19th at 6 pm. We will be reading his
book for the June book club! He will
be joined by author Jill Hannah
Anderson and we will be able to
discuss his book with both of them.
This will be a TICKETED EVENT.
Purchasing the book will be your
ticket to the event.

Four Pines Book Club will be
meeting only once this month. Our
meeting will be combined with the
J. Ryan Stradal book signing
event. This event will be ticketed,
but purchasing the book through
Four Pines Bookstore will gain you
entry. We are excited to have the
chance to discuss this book with
the author! Please have the book
read by the meeting!

Dino Day will be at Four Pines
Bookstore on Saturday, June 3rd at
11 am & 1pm. This will be a ticketed
event and a ticket will be required
for participation. Tickets are
$10 and are available online or in-
store. Tickets will include a story
time, themed activites, and a treat
to take home! *One ticket needed
per child
Up North Reading Road Trip
Pick up an Up North Reading Road
Trip passport from any of these 5
indie bookstores: Four Pines
Bookstore, Bluebird Books, The
Willow Bookstore, Cherry Street
Books, or Beagle and Wolf Books &
Bindery. Visit each bookstore
between August 7th and 28th to
get your card punched for a
giveaway! Each bookstore will
have their own fun giveaways and prizes to win during this time.
You will leave your passport at the last bookstore you visit for a
chance to win a gift basket of books! Passport cards are coming
soon and there are a limited number of them! Once they are gone,
they are gone. Use the #ReadingUpNorth hashtag to share your
road trip and the books you are reading!

Summer Reading Program
We are excited to announce our
Kids & YA Summer Reading
Program!!! This will start June 1st
and go until August 20th. Every
month (June, July, and August)
you have a one chance to earn a
bingo, bring in your card, and pick
a prize! Bring your card to the
bookstore, show an employee your
bingo card to get it initaled, then
choose from our prize bucket! At
the end of the summer we will have a blackout prize as well. We
have so many prizes to choose from! You can download and print
your own copy or pick up a copy in the store!

BYOB Book Club- Bring Your Own Book to book club will
meet June 29th at 6 pm. We loved seeing all the new faces at our
May meeting! There’s nothing better than talking about books with
friends. Come join us as we discuss our favorite recent read. Bring
a book you love and get ready to add more to your TBR! Here are
the books we discussed last month:
Four Pines Book Club- We will be reading Meet Me at the
Lake by Carley Fortune for our July book club meeting. Our July
meetings will be July 11th at 6 pm and July 12th at 10 am. This book
is the perfect romance beach read. It’s still not too late to join our
book club! We always welcome newcomers!

We do not charge admission to book clubs, but we strongly
encourage book club members to purchase the featured book from
Four Pines Bookstore or make an equivalent purchase of this each
month if you choose to borrow from the library.
