UNITED NURSE ANESTHETISTS OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA BARGAINING
On Wednesday, November 6, our UNANC-UNAC/UHCP bargaining team met again
with Kaiser Permanente management to continue negotiations for our new contract.
We were joined by several of our CRNA colleagues namely from San Leandro and
Vacaville, as well as Joe Guzynski, UNAC/UHCP
Executive Director, and Peter Sidhu, UNAC/UHCP
Executive Vice President.
The morning started with discussion with management on
our previous proposals on New Employee Orientation
(NEO) and Grievance and Arbitration.
Later, management outlined their definition of the work
week in their Work Week Defined proposal. Our
bargaining team then presented our proposal for
Bargaining Unit Work, which aims to protect essential
CRNA duties.
The bargaining team remains committed to securing a
fair and equitable contract that addresses the needs
and concerns of all NCAL CRNAs. We will continue to
provide updates as negotiations progress.
