Thank you for your interest in the historic Midland Theatre, downtown
Kansas City’s premier wedding venue for your memorable occasion.
Congratulations on your upcoming exciting day!
The Main Theater features a customizable tiered floor, accommodating from
200 to 450 guests seated banquet style. The built-in stage offers over 2,000
square feet of event space for the wedding ceremony or reception
entertainment.
The Grand Lobby has over 6,000 square feet of available space, including a
second floor mezzanine, perfect for an elegant cocktail hour.

Layout and Set up:
Our events director will work with you to create a custom layout. Midland staff is responsible for the set up and
clean up of the venue. You and your vendors are responsible for removing any specialty items such as floral, cake
stand, gifts, etc the night of your event.
Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit in the amount of the space rental is due to book the venue date.
Extra Services and Rentals:
We will work closely with your vendors and can coordinate the below items as well.
• China and specialty glassware
• Specialty linens
• Chair covers
• Coat check
• Entertainment booking of bands or DJs
• Ice carvings
• On-stage video screen & projector
Alcohol:
The Midland Theatre provides all alcohol and beverages, as well as the bartending staff. Below is a list of bar
packages. The Midland Theatre events director will visit with you about options and package combinations.
Bar Packages are based on a required four hour minimum

Parking:
The Midland Theatre is located at 13

& Main Streets in the Power and Light District. Available parking is included
for wedding guests on a first come first served basis, in the garage below the KC Live block.
