All owner operators bringing a truck to operate under Prime Inc’s authority must be equipped with a
roll stability and a collision avoidance system, will be governed at 65 mph on cruise/pedal, and have
mobile communication device, and inward facing camera before leasing on to Prime Inc.
All trucks must be 2024 or newer to lease on with Prime Inc.

FIXED COSTS
OWNER OPERATOR
License and permits=$100 per week
Prorated per quarter—full charge is $2,236 and is taken out at $100.00 per week until paid for the year. It will
start again in November for next year.
Federal highway use tax (2290)=$100 per week
Prorated per month—starts at full costs of $550.00 in July and is prorated monthly. True owner ops pay
$575.00
Mobile Communication Device rental=$18.34 per week
The mobile communication device installation is based on how long it takes. The cost is typically between
$300 & $500, which will come out in full on your 2nd or 3rd settlement.
*If you leave, all parts (except wiring and the bracket) must be returned to Prime Inc. or you will be charged a
non-refundable fee.
Occupational accident insurance=$29.99 per week
Non-Trucking liability insurance=$5.98 per week
Performance bond
Will transfer from your lease truck and it will be taken out at $100.00 per week until $1,750 is paid.
Fuel card charge=$1 per week
Physical damage insurance
If you choose to take Prime Inc’s insurance, you can get a quote based on the value of your truck. If you choose
Prime’s insurance option, you will be charged two weeks premium on your first settlement along with your
regular fixed physical damage premium amount.
