Poster presentation
at the International Conference on Sport and Education 2024
Exhibiting: Research, Best Practices, Project Ambitions
The 3rd edition of the conference provides an opportunity during ‘network intervals’ for authors
to present results and conclusions of research papers, as well as for representatives to render
awareness on best practices in the field and/or gather interest on innovative project ideas and
more within the ‘ICSE 2024 thematic scope’ - in the form of a printed poster to be displayed at the
venue during the event as well as on-line in the ICSE website.
Authors and representatives are invited to register and attend the conference in order to present their
poster to interested attendees, however such is not mandatory.

Note:
The ICSE 2024 scientific committee will confirm submission eligibility. The committee will select various
posters for which authors are asked to briefly present and address Q&A’s during the conference plenary
session 09, session14 and closure session.
If selected - Authors / Representatives will be informed timely.
Areas of interest
Poster presentations include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
• ETS methodology towards a comprehensive model of general applicability
To address a wider usability and impact across the European spectrum Sport as an educational tool: components
as mentorship, skills, training, reflection and intervention are now inherent in the concept of ETS. Therefore, this
educational model, following the framework of non-formal education [NFE], could be increasingly applied for various
fields and purposes.
• Sports Tourism
Sport as an accelerator for the development of the territory: encourage the teaching and dissemination of managerial
models for the growth of sports tourism by focusing on the realization of major sporting events and the preservation
of traditional games.
Sports tourism is one of the most demanded types of tourism. In particular, with the disappearance of borders, by
making appropriate planning, almost everyone can participate in sports tourism organizations actively or as an
audience. In the simplest terms, sports tourism can be defined as a type of tourism created by those who travel for
the purpose of sporting activities (Alpull, Ak; 2018).
•Healthy Lifestyle through Sport
Aligned to the “The HealthyLifestyle4All Initiative” the European Commission wishes to involve sport movements at
national, European and international level; state authorities (ministries), cities & regions (local governments) and
civil society organisations.
• A dual career path for sport professional and semi-professional athletes:
Combining a sports career with education and work: how education changes and evolves to meet the needs of many
professional and semi-professional athletes in their post-career placement. Dedicated pathways and cross-sectoral
competences in the European Union policy framework.

Authors / Representants invited:
The poster exhibition at ICSE 2024 aims to provide a platform for all stake holding
individuals and organizations to present their research, projects ideas and/or best practices.

•Civil society organizations
Poster conditions
Maximum Poster-size: 100 cm wide x 175 cm high
•Interested Authors / Representatives
Besides a maximum size of the poster, there are no specific conditions as to lay-out,
graphics etc. to facilitate exhibition presentations “existing posters"
Note: selfstanding poster systems can also be placed (max 100x200cm) in case notify.
•Sapienza University students are to comply to provided guidelines in case of study
assignment

Poster submission
Authors / rapresentatives can submit up to 2 posters:

oaccademic posters accompanied with abstract and/or paper pdf attached
is appreciated – but not mandatory
Poster submissions are to be send before 07 november 2023;
Poster exhibition confirmation
Confirmation of elegibility and the number of the Poster Spot at the Exhibition - will
follow shortly after submission by email from the ‘ICSE 2024 helpdesk’ that functions as
contact for assistance / enquieries before, during and after the event.
Once confirmed authors / representatives are to register themselves to confirm their
attendance at the conference and intention to present their poster to interested attendees,
Note: If you would like to display your poster but won’t be able to attend the conference in person,
don’t worry – you can submit such to be integrated in the ICSE 2023 proceedings that includes
an online publication on the ICSE platform.
Furthermore, there is also the option to send by courier or mail.

Poster delivery / Venue address
By post or courier - to send posters directly to the venue’ address as follows:

Poster plots / etc - are to be received by post or courier before 15 november 2024.
Poster exhibition installation
Posters can be placed by the ‘owners’ at the venue
on 16 November from 20:00h – 23:00h
and 17 November from 09:00h – 09:20h
or a quick fix - during conference breaks
A poster wall system awaits as well as materials to fix printed posters.
Numbers indicate assigned poster spots.
