At 25:00, a very special train running from Samdocheon (the river that separates the
mortal realm from the afterworld) transports the dead to meet their nal judgment.
Known as the Magic Lantern Express, those aboard are whisked on a trip down
memory lane, recalling the main events of their lives, upon which their nal judgment is
pronounced. The well-oiled process strikes a snag, however, when mysterious demons
begin to attack the memories of the dead.
Like so many holes in a slice of gruyère, the scourge eats away at one person's
memories of their rst love; another person forgets their beloved dog; still another, a
cherished student; one person even forgets their own family. The dead who cannot
recall their past are ineligible to stand their nal judgment, putting them at risk of
annihilation. A special task force is set up to tackle the problem, with Cha Soohan
joining as a newbie agent helping the dead to recover their stolen memories.

Entomologist Han Kyungae returns from her studies in the US to study the local bee
population, renting an entire inn as her research lab. She is known as the Yellow Lady,
a nickname she was given in the States due to her skin color and the bees that she
studies.
On the morning of March 26, 1937, Kyungae is stuck in her lab when her grandmother,
Okyup, comes to her with a request for help. A singer called Chunghee, a former
kisaeng (singing and dancing girl), has been found dead in her home. Inexplicably, the
body was discovered swarming with bees.
Meanwhile, at Gyeongseong Imperial University's department of pathology, Kim
Dong-a, a forensic scientist who trained at the University of Tokyo, has been tasked
with the autopsy of an atypical body. Just exactly what is so strange about the body is
something Dong-a cannot say, however, even after 30 minutes of staring at it. Dong-a
does a double take when a woman enters the lab with the police: she is none other than
his ancée, Han Kyungae, the much-whispered-about Yellow Lady.
Entomologist Kyungae, an educated modern woman, assisted by Dong-a, her ancé,
dive into the mysterious murder of the kisaeng covered in bees.

Yamu, pop. 200,000, is a costal town that has seen better days. A massive
redevelopment plan is in place, including that for a luxury apartment complex, where
ominous remains are found underground. The discovery is kept a secret, however, and
the luxury residence dubbed Sea the View Park is completed as planned, albeit with a
higher than usual number of deaths associated with the construction process. One day,
a delivery of rice cakes is made to the building supposedly from a new neighbor. The
rice cakes are laced with cyanide, however, resulting in a lethal mass poisoning.
Hwa-young's mother, who works as a live-in housekeeper at Sea the View Park, is one
of the victims. Hwa-young, turned out on the streets, lives in a ophouse for runaways
at the mercy of landlord Young-jin, who regularly extorts money from her. Hwa-young
refuses to believe that her mother, who never touched rice cakes in her life, died from
eating the poisoned rice cakes, and suspects foul play. Swearing to nd the true culprit
and avenge her mother's death, Hwa-young is determined to save 20 million won in
order to place a hit on the suspect, and does whatever work she can nd.
One day, Hwa-young is bullied into playing bait for one of Young-jin's scams. Left in
a motel room alone with the mark, she is alarmed when he begins to unpack one
lethal weapon after another. She signals Young-jin for help, but when no one comes
she realizes that she has been tricked, and that Young-jin has sold her to the would-
be murderer. Just when the man is about to attack Hwa-young, he collapses in pain,
bleeding. Hwa-young is about to escape when a teddy bear speaks to her. It's a grubby
Happy Smile Bear doll.

accepting any unforeseen eventualities that might arise thereof. The Goats operate
on the principle of easing the client's circumstances so they are not driven to drastic
measures. The club's activities are part of a social experiment funded by Jeong Young-
uk, chairman of J Group.
Working on various cases, it becomes clear that the club's activities are being followed

2025, a nuclear leakage accident takes place at Kori Nuclear Power Plant. The
radioactive materials spread as far as to Busan's Haeundae, causing many to either

Jungle. There, Seokyoung meets and quickly marries Chocope, with whom he has a
daughter named Morning Star. At their happiest point, the two agree to meet in real life,
only to have Chocope disappear at the last minute. Seokyoung advertises for Chocope
at great expense, but she is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Morning Star is slowly
dying of neglect when Dami connects to the Jungle and visits Chocope and Pareuret
(Seokyoung's Jungle handle)'s house in the metaverse. Confronted by indisputable
proof of Seokyoung's unfaithfulness, Dami tells Seokyoung to move out.
Chocope in real life is a middle school student named Choyoung. She used her
mother's personal information to play Jungle, an adult-only game, where she sold drugs
and married Pareuret. Turning up in real life at Dami's house, Choyoung sets Seokyoung
and Dami's doomed marriage on a path of no return.

the king's father-in-law, to the ultimate position of chief state councilor. He is also
responsible for saving Eunho's life upon the request of a young Bin, taking away all of
Eunho's memories of Bin in exchange. Once again, he saves Bin and Eunho's life and
oers to help Bin on her quest collecting spirit pearls.
Meanwhile, Chaeryung, the queen, attempts to use Paryeo to build a ghost army and
become king herself. Eunho is compelled to join forces with his ancée Bin to protect
the king, while Bin must continue on her quest despite her love for Eunho.
Will Bin and Eunho manage to defeat the ghosts and nally be reunited in their love?

Chinese restaurant bearing the sign, The Duke of Zhou, where she meets Seong-
ha, who has survived as a severed head. Seong-ha asks for help to go search for her
parents, and Yeon-jeong wavers but agrees.
